Reflection
2022
I experienced an unsettling shift in my life when I created this collection. For as long as I can remember, painting has provided a sanctuary for me and during this period, it allowed me to assess my mental struggle and slowly regain my feeling of self-worth.
I spent a considerable amount of time by the sea in Cornwall during this period. I was surrounded by nature; it took me on a journey and helped me to re-connect to myself. This collection represents the power of nature and how it can whisk you away and provide you peace and clarity.
